 Dr. Charles W. Richburg, III
Consultant

Dr. Charles W. Richburg is Director of Youth Mentorship & Restorative Justice Programs at CLPS.  He is also the Founder of RCS, LLC.  Established in 2015, RCS functions as a resource for individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations providing education and career development solutions targeting Black male students and those residing in underserved communities.  Dr. Richburg promotes a holistic process that embraces the academic, economic, physical, as well as spiritual life of the individual.  During a career covering a span of 30 years, Dr. Richburg is highly respected for his work as a Residential Drug Treatment Specialist, Criminal Court Administrator, Director of Employment and Training, and University Educator.  He received the President’s Volunteer Service Award by AmeriCorps, 2023, in recognition and appreciation of his volunteer service. Previously he was a volunteer mentor for the South Carolina Department of Correction Pre-Release Center, Aiken High School Mentoring Program, and local educational programs.  Dr. Richburg possesses a BA in Social Sciences from the College of New Rochelle, a Master of Counseling from Pace University, and a Doctor of Education from St. John Fisher University.  He also received the New York State Family Development Credential (FDC) from Cornell University, and is a Human Services Board-Certified Practitioner at the Center for Credentialing & Education, in Greensboro, North Carolina.
