Shawn Harris
Director of  Public Sector Partnerships

Mr. Shawn Harris is Director of Public Sector Partnerships at CLPS.  He is also the founder of MA1 Security & Investigative Services, a full-service security guard and investigations company based in New York City, and strategic partner of CLPS.  Prior to his career in private security, Mr. Harris spent a lengthy career in law enforcement.  This started with his service in the United States Navy and later with the City of Mount Vernon Police Department, NY. During his service in the Navy, he was deployed to Operation Desert Sheild/Storm and Iraqi Freedom. While with the Mount Vernon Police Department, his assignments included School Resource Officer, Emergency Services Unit, Internal Affairs, and Mayor’s Security Detail.  He served as the Police Commissioner between 2017 and 2020, before retiring from active police service.  Mr. Harris is a strategic security expert with extensive experience in operations, planning, and management. He holds a B.S. in Corporate and Homeland Security from Mercy University.
