Dr. John L. More is Director of Legal and Threat Management Training at CLPS.  He has more than 18 years of experience as an insurance defense litigator and has provided threat-based training and consultation to school districts and police departments in 35 states.  Dr. More is the architect of two essential training courses: “Developing and Managing a Legally Protective Threat Management System for Schools and Municipalities”, and “Legal Aspects of Community-based Behavioral Threat and Assessment Management.”  He also authored the “Information Sharing Guide for Schools” for the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services. In addition to his academic and consulting background, Dr. More has 45 years as an Incident Commander for an New Jersey-based Water Rescue and EMS Rapid Response Team.  He holds a J.D. from Widener University Delaware Law School, and B.S. in Political Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
