Heather Harer is VP of Strategic Partnerships at CLPS Consultants.  She is also the Founder of Optical Intelligence, a business development firm that works with security professionals and companies nationwide to foster partnerships and innovative software integrations.  Heather’s expertise helps develop best-in-market security solutions for a variety of industries such as education, government, healthcare, business, and non-profit.  She has been an executive-level leader in the security space for over 10 years.  Prior to entering the private sector, she worked in K-12 education supporting students through proactive counseling.  Heather also served as an elected school board Chair and was a member of multiple municipal committees.  With student and public safety as her driving force, she continues her mission of creating and maintaining safer and more secure environments.
