Protect your school, workplace, or organization by ensuring you are well prepared for natural disasters, human-caused threats, hazards, and emergencies. According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), it is important to know what emergencies and hazards can affect you and based on that, make a plan. But having an emergency plan alone is not adequate.

Organizational leaders and employees should practice aspects of their emergency plans. During this training, you will learn:
How to
properly plan
for disasters
and emergencies listed in your emergency
plan
How to
become more "situationally aware"
at your
school
or
workplace
How to
develop a practical process to quickly
and
effectively respond to incidents
How to utilize the Incident Command System (ICS) and collaborate with emergency responders during a crisis
Partial-day or full-day training is available. Training is delivered in workshop format, allowing for attendee participation.
