Lou Adipietro
Director of Risk Management NYC Metro Region 

Lou is a retired public school educator and administrator having served his communities for  almost 35 years.  Lou began his career as a mathematics teacher in the New York City Public Schools.  He then spent 13 years at  Mount Vernon High School in Westchester County, NY. In 2005, Lou became Assistant Principal at Hastings High School in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY and then served as its principal for the past 16 years.  He retired from public service in June 2024. Lou feels that his extensive experience has equipped him with the skills and necessary insights to foster a supportive and safe environment. Throughout his career, the safety of staff and students has been a top priority.  He has led building safety teams and served on several district safety teams.  He is committed to continuous improvement and finding efficiencies in the area of school and corporate safety.

 

Lou lives in Yonkers, New York with his wife Lisa and dog Lexi.  He has two grown sons.  Matt is a physical education and health teacher in Westchester County and Chris is a construction engineer/project manager in New York City.
